"Intervolution" - a new improvising ensemble consisting of four remarkable vocalists and my processing has been formed; inaugural performances will take place in late May in Köln (28 May) and Basel (30 May).
Michael Ormiston (UK), Aparna Panshikar (IN), Bettina Wenzel (DE) and Ingrid Lode (NO) are all remarkable vocalists with their own special backgrounds and abilities. All these will be fused together with my Signal Processing Instrument.
I now have three new CDs in preparation, all of them based on material recorded during my spring tour in 2007. In Berlin I made studio recordings with bassist Adam Linson; in Kassel and Köln I performed with saxophonist Jeffrey Morgan; and in Münsingen, Schwabia I recorded with brothers Rainer and Martin Bürck. I hope all three will be released during 2008 - more details later. In addition, a new Evan Parker Electracoustic Ensemble release is in preparation, and the Jonathan Harvey "remix" record is due out soon on Sargasso.
I have been appointed as an Advisor to the Academy of Electronic Arts in Delhi - http://www.theaea.org/index.htm. This is the organisation that presents the Carnival of e-Creativity in Delhi each year, which I took part in in 2006 and 2007, and will do so again in Feb, 2008.
At CeC 2008 I will perform with vocalist Bettina Wenzel, with the group Sekunsak (Aparna Panshikar, Ansuman Biswas, Curtis Bahn) and with a larger ensemble drawn from the particiapants of CeC 2008.
Swiss violist and vocalist Charlotte Hug and I will be appearing at the Total Music Meeting in Berlin on 3 November, our first performance together as a duo.

I recently completed a contribution to "Other Presences", a CD project from Sargasso Records based around a new composition for trumpet and electronic sounds by Jonathan Harvey. A number of musicians have been invited to contribute "remixes" of the trumpet material. My contribution is called "Lost Wax" - look out for the CD on Sargasso Records soon.
