The tenth Colourscape Music Festival on Capham Common

Colourscape will be installed once again on Clapham Common, this year for a longer period.

Programmes are as follows:

Saturday, 5 September

Colourscape Open Day - The magnificent Festival Colourscape sculpture will be open to the public without music.

Sunday, 6 September

Colourscape sculptor Peter Jones and Colourscape Music Festival Directors Lawrence Casserley and Simon Desorgher. Meet the Sculptor and hear 'Chakras' and 'Labyrinth', the pieces that began the Colourscape Music Festival in 1989.

Monday, 7 to Friday, 11 September

Saturday, 12 September

Huti - a collaboration of women performers and creative artists , and Chrysalis - a collaborative dance project by Jo Shapland and Dave Handford

Sunday, 13 September

Delta Saxophone Ensemble - music by Finnissy, Globokar, Wolters, Redgate, Muldowney and Riley

Monday, 14 to Friday 18 September

Pupils from schools in Battersea perform the work resulting from workshops by Tim Palmer, Andy d'Cruz and Jo Shapland. Tim also plays music by Volans, Sinclair and Alvarez

Nye Parry's 'Four Seasons' plus contemporary and traditional gamelan music
