Colourscape is for everyone. People of all ages from babies to
our most elderly visitors respond positively to the experience.
We are fully wheelchair accessible as all events take place on
flat ground. We do ask that those with mobility problems are accompanied
by a friend or carer to help find their way through the structure.
All Colourscape events are under cover to protect against the
famous British weather. Large, lightweight canopies stretch across the
entrance to form a welcoming open space.
You can move freely anywhere that you like in Colourscape. You
can sit down (or even lie down!) and enjoy the views (and sounds) wherever
you please.
Although Colourscape is a labyrinth it is not designed as a maze
to deliberately confuse. People actually enjoy the feeling of being
lost, knowing that there is always a steward nearby to show the way
out. Anyone seriously suffering from claustrophobia may have a problem
entering Colourscape, but many people have found that the lightness
of the space helped them to overcome their fears.
We do ask you not to run or jump in Colourscape for safety reasons.
There is also no smoking for safety reasons and we ask people not to
eat or drink inside. Almost anything else is permitted!
